Djembe rhythms

There is a new drum notation tool on djembefola.com. It allows you to tab djembe rhythms and well as dundun and other drums. You can then email links to the page with the notation on it… very powerful and useful…

Great sites I found this week.

Hey guys, I found a couple of great sites this week that I will definitely be subcribing to keep up to date with developments.

The first one is World Music world and it brings the world’s folk music together. I really like this site. It’s clearly run by someone who’s passionate about music. There’s plenty of great content including profiles of musicians and and free world music mp3 listings e and world music articles.

The Second site is called Daily Drummer. This site is one of the best drumming blogs on the internet content wise. It is updated pretty much every day so if you’re looking for daily drumming news this is a great one to subscribe to.

It’s also got a great drum lessons section and directory for drum links.

Anyway, enjoy… I’ll be letting you know about any other worthwhile sites I come across.
